Privacy Policy
Effective October 30, 2026
Errant Agency (“Errant Agency,” “we,” “us,” “our”) is a video and marketing agency based in Newnan, Georgia. We operate errantagencymedia.com and we advertise on Facebook and Instagram. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We have written it in plain language on purpose.
This policy covers our website, our advertising, and any inquiry or booking you make with us. It does not cover a client’s own website or the platforms we use to run campaigns — those companies publish their own policies, and we link to the important ones below.
Information you give us
When you fill in a form, book a call, email us, call us, or reply to one of our ads, you may give us:
- Your name, email address, and phone number
- Your company name, website, and the trade or industry you work in
- Approximate monthly revenue, if you choose to share it, so we can judge fit
- The services you are interested in, your budget range, and your timeline
- Anything else you type into a message or say on a call
You are never required to give us any of this. But if you do not, we may not be able to answer your inquiry or prepare a proposal for you.
Information we collect automatically
When you visit our site, we and our service providers may automatically collect standard technical information: your IP address and approximate location, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, the pages you view, how long you stay, and the links you click. This is collected through cookies, pixels, and similar technologies described below.
Information from advertising platforms
We advertise on Facebook and Instagram, and we sometimes receive information about you from those platforms. If you interact with one of our ads — including by using a lead form inside Facebook or Instagram — the platform passes us the details you submitted there, which usually means your name, email address, phone number, and any answers you gave to the form’s questions. We may also receive aggregated, non-identifying reporting such as how many people saw an ad, how many clicked it, and which audiences performed best.
How we use information
- To respond to your inquiry and book your discovery call
- To prepare proposals, quotes, and scopes of work
- To deliver and manage services you have engaged us for
- To send you information you have asked for, and to follow up on your inquiry
- To measure and improve our advertising, our website, and our offers
- To build advertising audiences, as described below
- To keep records, invoice you, and meet our legal and accounting obligations
- To detect and prevent fraud, spam, and misuse of our site
If you contact us, we may follow up by phone, email, or text message about your project. You can tell us to stop at any time and we will.
Cookies, pixels and similar technologies
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Pixels are tiny pieces of code that load from another company and report that a page was viewed or an action was taken. We use both, along with related technologies, for three purposes: keeping the site working, understanding how it is used, and measuring and targeting our advertising.
- Essential cookies — needed for the site and our booking calendar to function. These cannot be switched off through our site.
- Analytics cookies — help us understand traffic and which pages are useful, in aggregate.
- Advertising cookies and pixels — let us measure which ads produce inquiries and show relevant ads to people who have visited our site.
You can block, restrict, or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings, and you can use private or incognito browsing. Blocking cookies may make parts of the site behave differently. Your browser may also offer a “Do Not Track” signal; because there is still no common standard for how to honor it, our site does not respond to it, but the opt-outs listed below do work.
Advertising on Facebook and Instagram
This section explains specifically what happens when we advertise on Meta platforms.
The Meta Pixel and Conversions API. Our website uses the Meta Pixel and may use the Meta Conversions API. These tools report to Meta when someone visits our site and when they take an action such as submitting a form or booking a call. That lets us measure which ads work and show ads to people who have shown interest. Information reported this way can be linked by Meta to your Facebook or Instagram account.
Lead forms. If you submit a lead form inside Facebook or Instagram, Meta collects the information you enter and shares it with us. Meta’s handling of that information is governed by Meta’s own privacy policy, not this one.
Custom and lookalike audiences. We may upload customer contact details — such as an email address or phone number — to Meta to create a custom audience for our ads, or to build a lookalike audience of similar people. Meta hashes this data before matching it. We only upload details of people who have a relationship with us, and we do not upload sensitive categories of information.
Opting out of interest-based advertising. You can control whether you see ads based on your interests:
- In Facebook, open Ad Settings and turn off ads based on data from partners and from your activity on other sites.
- In the United States and Canada, visit optout.aboutads.info or optout.networkadvertising.org to opt out of interest-based advertising from participating companies.
- In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, use Meta’s Privacy Center controls.
Opting out does not remove ads — it means the ads you see are less likely to be based on your interests. To understand what Meta itself does with your information, read the Meta Privacy Policy.
Who we share information with
We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent it, trade it, or hand it to unrelated companies for their own marketing.
We share information only with service providers that help us run our business, and only as needed for them to do that work. These include:
- Hosting and infrastructure — our website is served by Vercel Inc., which processes technical request data on our behalf.
- CRM, scheduling and messaging — we use a customer relationship management and booking platform to store inquiries, run our calendar, and send email and text messages.
- Advertising and analytics platforms — including Meta Platforms, Inc. (Facebook and Instagram) and Google LLC, for the advertising purposes described above.
- Email, accounting and professional advisers — including our accountant and, where necessary, our attorney.
We may also disclose information when the law requires it, when we need to enforce our agreements, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our business, our clients, or others. If our business is ever sold or merged, information may transfer as part of that transaction, and this policy would continue to apply until updated.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry and project information for as long as it is useful to serve you and to meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations, then we delete it or make it anonymous. If you ask us to delete your information and we are not required to keep it, we will delete it.
How we protect it
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information we hold, including encrypted connections and access controls on the platforms we use. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security, but we take the obligation seriously and limit access to people who need it to do their jobs.
Your rights and choices
Subject to the law where you live, you may ask us to:
- Tell you what personal information we hold about you, and give you a copy
- Correct information that is wrong or incomplete
- Delete information we no longer have a reason to keep
- Stop sending you marketing messages
- Stop using your information for advertising audiences
- Restrict or object to certain processing
You can opt out of marketing at any time by replying STOP to a text message, using the unsubscribe link in an email, or simply telling us. To make any other request, email davis@errantagencyads.com. We will respond within the timeframe the applicable law requires, and we may ask you to confirm your identity before we act, so that we do not disclose your information to someone else.
California residents
If you live in California, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, gives you the right to know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose; to request deletion or correction; to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information; and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not knowingly share it for cross-context behavioral advertising in exchange for money. You may exercise these rights using the contact details above, and an authorized agent may make a request on your behalf if they can show they are authorized to act for you.
Residents of the EEA, UK and Switzerland
Where the General Data Protection Regulation applies, we process your information on the following legal bases: your consent for advertising cookies, pixels, and marketing messages; the performance of a contract when we deliver services you have engaged us for; our legitimate interests in responding to inquiries, running and improving our business, and preventing fraud; and compliance with legal obligations for our records. You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to our processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Our website and services are operated from the United States. If you contact us from elsewhere, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country.
Children
Our services are for businesses, and this site is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13, or under 16 where that higher age applies. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Links to other sites
This site links to client websites and to platforms we do not control, including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and our booking calendar. We are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices. Read their policies before giving them your information.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. If the change is material, we will make that clear on this page. Continuing to use the site or our services after a change means you accept the updated policy.
